Returning to Stuttgart from Schwarzenbruck, I detoured a little bit to go after a probe. The probe had landed around 3 hours before in a field. The field was next to the airstrip of Schlierstadt. As the clouds were hanging low, flight operations were cancelled.
Locating the probe was rather uneventful: I went to the last reported position of radioson.de, then I cranked up my decoder, received and decoded the GPS position of the probe at 49.44575N 9.36552E, and went to collect it.
