After an uneventful flight to Edinburg, Felix and myself picked up an Seat Arona from a car rental company and went to Melrose. We stayed in the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel, a former baronial house that became a hotel in 1929. Each room has a name. Many of names are that of fishing flies — which I find kind of a funny and at the same time quirky idea. We stayed in “blue elver”.
