2015-03-20: Neko Harbor

We spend a beautiful afternoon in Neko Harbor.

We were set ashore next to a deserted penguin colony. Following a steep climb we found a rocky patch that invited us to sit down, and just look over Neko Harbor. Those who wanted took a quick polar plunge — too cold for me. I spend the afternoon enjoying the sun, chatting with Don, listing to the cracking ice in the glacier, and hoping for a big boulder of ice to splash into the sea — which probably shortly  happened after we had left. Team Funashi did its thing, and it was fun watching them. I took the last zodiac back into the setting sun.
