Antarctica: The Journey

So what do I take back from Antarctica ?

Antarctica is a great place to be. It is still in a pristine state and probably the last big wilderness on the planet. Antarctica takes things really slowly. 50 years whizz by likeĀ  nothing. In terms of animal life, there is only a limited number of species that are all feeding from each other. If one is taken out, the whole system is impacted. Antarctica will not be able to react to quick environmental or man made changes — it will require protection to remain in the state it is today.

  1. Hi Tilman,

Your Antarctica diary is impressive. Our trip was so amazing. I doubt if it’s possible for me to take a more exciting trip in the future.

Enjoy your trip in Chile and Peru!
