Travel Day: The three of us took the plane to Cusco. Cusco is at around 3400 meters above sea level. The approach to the airport of Cusco was impressive, as the plane dove through valleys to reach the runway. One opens the window shades, and sees a mountain landscape passing by at and above the flight level of the plane. This and the altitude reducing the lift certainly make it a challenging approach that requires a lot of training and skills.
