Our last day commenced. After a late breakfast, we left Taves around 1 pm and made our way towards Savoyeux. The temperature was climbing and climbing. After we had passed the \u00c9cluse n\u00b010 de Soing at around 3:30 pm and realized that we would arrive way to early, we moored next to what looked like a barbecue place with the intention pack our stuff and to start cleaning the boat. Our elan pretty quickly crumbled in the afternoon heat. We had ice cream instead, read a little and dozed off, We set off again around 6 p.m. and arrived in Savoyeux at approximately 7:15 p.m., where the German guys from Hessen \u2014 whom we had last encountered in Fouch\u00e9court\u2014 had already moored. We packed our stuff and loaded it in the car. Then we cleaned the boat. When everything was ready, I strolled around the harbor for a bit, while Felix disappeared into his cabin to surf the radio-waves via his tablet through the endless fabric of the Internet.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
