Not to rely on Putin’s oil — and admittedly even more for comfort we originally thought of using the train to go to Savoyieux.<\/span>  I found the station on google maps. What I did not find were train schedules with stops at Savoyeux station. Checking the surroundings on google maps and discovering that the track bed is filled out by trees made me even more doubtful that the station was still operational. The boat rental company confirmed this. Before going back we took the opportunity to visit our “port of  destination”  — had we arrived 30 year earlier.<\/p>\n
