After going to Gisela’s office and unintentionally locking us in with the prospect of having to spend the weekend there, we detoured after our release on our way home to the landing zone of the night probe of Stuttgart. With a little cry of excitement Gisela found it floating in the water.<\/p>\n

Back home, I opened up the probe. Water had  entered via the antenna opening and current of the batteries accelerated the corrosion process. Even after drying it no longer works.<\/p>\n
