I also strolled a little bit around in downtown Santiago, and visited the human rights museum. It starts with the coup d&#8217;etat that ousted Allende, then explains life during Pinochet&#8217;s dictatorship, the way back to democracy, and remembers those that were tortured, killed, or just disappeared. Not a pleasant place, and not an easy topic.\u00a0 It however presents the topic careful and\u00a0well structured.<\/p>\n<p>As it was Easter, most of the shops were closed.
