The weather was good for hiking. I started of Refugio las Torres together with Francisco. Eventually a bigger group flocked together — we would go with Vanessa, Marc, Melina, Susanne, Lauren, Pia, Valentina.<\/p>\n

About 2 hours into the hike, we suddenly saw a puma. They are normally very shy of people and rarely seen. Luckily, the puma chose to proceed into a different direction.<\/p>\n

The trail went along the shore of Lake Nordernskj\u00f6id, Most of us ended the hike at Los Cuernos, while Lauren and myself pushed on to Refugio Frances, where we had booked the accommodation.<\/p>\n
