Another early morning in the Antarctic.\u00a0 Jim’s voice croaks from loudspeaker waking us up in his “Good Morning Vietnam” style. The day dawns, and we are off for a zodiac ride in Wilhelmina Bay.\u00a0 Today, whale spotting is on the agenda.<\/p>\n

We found some krill eaters sunbathing. And we spotted an elusive humpback whale. Then we cruised around with little avail, hoping that performing the whale dance would bring us more whales — and in the end it worked. Unfortunately, we were low on gasoline, and only could follow him shortly.<\/p>\n
