2023-06-02: Traves -> Savoyeux

Leaving the harbor of Traves, we again carefully watched for shallow water and sandbanks just under the water surface. Felix had it hand next the ignition key to turn off the motor should it start to suck in sand into its cooling system. After having left the bridge of Traves  behind us with the foundation of its pillars just lurking under the water surface, we had passed the last peril point and relaxed. The shore of the river is lined with many trees and thick vegetation which gives it the appearance of a rather untouched stretch of nature. In Savoyeux, we performed a nearly perfect docking manoeuvresand then the holidays were a thing of the past.  We readied the boat for returning it, packed our stuff and cleaned it. In the early evening we drove to Gray for dinner.
